Living and Experiencing Christ

Praise the Lord! It is a great privilege to share my personal experience of how I received Christ and am now having a marvelous experience of Christ in the local church in Cypress.

I'm a newlywed and it is such a great experience to serve the Lord with my husband who also got saved in the local church in Cypress.

It was summer of 1993 when I visited my aunt in Seoul, Korea. At that time, I was attending a denomination. My aunt asked if I wanted to come to the summer retreat with her, and having no one else with whom to spend my summer in the strange city, I was glad to go. There was a young adult meeting every night, and I got to know this Christian brother. He shared with me how often people get carried away and don't realize they are serving the Lord and the world at the same time. I thought about what the brother had said and began to realize that I was not happy and I was wondering how I couldn't be happy when I say I enjoy God. The brother gave me a telephone number of a Christian sister to call when I got back to America, so I did. Since then, I'm having a wonderful life of living for Christ. My purpose in this world is to live out God and carry out God's eternal plan. If my lifetime is only meant just to have a good life, I'm not sure whether I want to live in this miserable world with no other purpose for my life.

Many people fight with their spouses or others and say even God can't help. Well, when we fight because of the seed of the fallen Adam within us, He always shows His way to love one another. Every meeting, I see believers with happy faces which makes me realize that I'm in a glorious place.
